What is a vectorised logo?

A vectorised logo is a form of digital image made up of geometric objects such as lines, segments and curves. Unlike a bitmap logo or a raster image, it can be enlarged without any loss of quality.

Vectorised logos retain their sharpness even when enlarged, which is why we only accept this format in the workshop. When we create the plates or layers required for your project, only this format will be compatible. This is because, unlike raster images, it is not based on a grid of pixels. Instead, it is made up of geometric shapes and lines linked by mathematical formulae.

To find out more

Vectorising a bitmap image and using a vector logo means that the image can be resized at will, without the risk of pixelation that could affect its quality.

What’s more, vector logos retain their quality and originality, adapt easily to all formats and remain sharp, unlike bitmap formats. Over and above the obligation to provide us with this format to be compatible with our printing techniques. Once you have placed your order, we will send you the vector file in EPS format for your future printing projects.
